I love food. I love to cook. And I don't prefer eating out. I just go with the wife, truth be told. And it's more often than I prefer.
But will say that this place does a good job, even a better job than similarly priced joints.
Viva Mexico is my go to in Canton. If I had to rate for other restaurants of similiar caliber it's a 9 on food, price, location (that's subjective), service tonight was a 7, but it was Friday and busy so when weighted against those factors it was a 9.
Beer was cold, but went down way too fast, but I'm to blame for that. My excuse was I was thirtsy, my wife's was I'm a drunk. Drunk is a past tense of had drank, so maybe she was right because when she said that, I had certainly drunk it all. But that story is probably best left for our counselor.
If you want you best chances of good American/Mexican at a reasonable price, you're in good hands here. Out of 5 visits, I have nothing but good to say.
